Jedburgh

  • Enjoy this attractive Borders town with its many sites of historic interest which include its magnificent abbey and Mary Queen of Scots House.

Hawick

  • Shop for luxury knitwear at one of Hawick’s factory outlets.

Selkirk

  • Selkirk is another pleasant Borders town with two fascinating museums.

Melrose

  • Enjoy this charming and picturesque town, the loveliest of all the Borders towns.
  • Explore the ruins of magnificent 12th Century Gothic Melrose Abbey.
  • Pop into Abbotsford House, Gardens and Museum, home of Sir Walter Scott, complete with 9,000 rare books.

Kelso

  • Explore Kelso, a picturesque little town with cobbled streets leading into a wide market square.
  • Floors Castle, the vast ancestral home of the Duke of Roxburghe is a 20 minute walk from the town. Its walled garden is well-worth a visit, just as Queen Victoria did herself when she took tea there in 1867.
