Helmsley
- Explore this charming little Yorkshire town with its huge variety of individual shops.
Osmotherley
- Visit the attractive stone village with its cottages huddled around the green and stone table where John Wesley preached during one of his sermon tours.
- A lovely short walk visits the Lady Chapel and Mount Grace Priory, an attractive 14th Century Carthusian monastery.
Robin Hood's Bay
- Explore the charming and curiously complex village with its history of smuggling.
- Nearby Whitby boasts an attractive harbour, atmospheric ruined Abbey (said to be the inspiration behind the story of Dracula) & Captain Cook Museum as well as having the best fish and chips in the British Isles.
Scarborough
- If you fancy somewhere lively towards the end of your holiday consider the bustling seaside resort of Scarborough.
