Richmond
- Spend a day in Richmond, ‘a jewel in the heart of North Yorkshire’. This historic market town with its Castle, cobbled streets, museums and shops is a popular stop.
Egton Bridge
- One of Yorkshires most beautiful villages this is a good base for exploring Eskdale.
Robin Hood's Bay
- At the end of your walk, Robin Hood's Bay deserves time to be explored.
- Visit nearby Whitby and its Abbey, Captain Cook Museum and St Mary's church; whose interior was altered in 1612 to resemble the lower deck of a wooded sailing ship.
