Itinerary

Day 1 - Oban to the Isle of Mull
Depart Oban, the beautiful hub of the Southern Hebrides bound for the majestic Isle of Mull, your first Scottish island destination. Scotland is home to some of the most beautiful island retreats in the world and Mull is one of them; home to magnificent sea cliffs, white sandy beaches and mountains that rise 3,000 feet from the crystal clear sea.

Day 2 - Isle of Mull Sightseeing
Visit pretty Tobermory, the Island's main village with its multi-coloured houses scattered around a peaceful harbour. Mull is famous for its stunning wildlife and you could join a whale & dolphin watching trip to experience these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 3 - Isle of Iona Sightseeing
Spend the day on the tranquil Isle of Iona, steeped in history as the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland. Follow in the footsteps of St Columba and 14 centuries of pilgrims by visiting Iona Abbey. Iona also boasts impossibly turquoise waters, dazzling beaches, hidden coves and monumentally sacred sites.

Fingal's Cave on the enchanting Isle of Staffa is a truly awesome natural phenomenon with immense hexagonal pillars looming out of the sea.

Day 4 - Isle of Mull to the Isle of Skye
Hop on the ferry to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Britain's most westerly point & enjoy wonderful views to the isles of Rum, Eigg & Muck. Travel on the magnificent Road to the Isles and then by ferry over the sea to the Isle of Skye. The short sailing across the Sound of Sleat provides great views of Skye and back across to the west coast.

Day 5 - Isle of Skye Sightseeing
The magical Isle of Skye is without doubt one of the most popular destinations in Scotland where the dramatic Cuillin Mountains and stunning seascapes combine with the warmest of Highland hospitality. Visit romantic Dunvegan Castle, sample some fine Island whiskies or climb aboard a fabulous cruise into the heart of the Cuillin Mountains.

Day 6 - Isle of Skye Sightseeing
Explore the pretty town of Portree with its attractive harbour, and visit the neighbouring Isle of Raasay, with its stunning views back to the Cuillins. Wildlife cruises allow you to explore the seas that surround the island and spot seals, otters and great golden eagles. Skye is dotted with wonderful craft shops and galleries for souvenir-hunting too.

Day 7 - Isle of Skye Sightseeing
Enjoy a spectacular walk in the Quiraing and through some of Skye's extraordinary geological scenery. Visit the rocky spike of the Old Man of Storr, a free-standing pinnacle which attracts hordes of photographers and rock-climbers. View the dramatic coastal scenery at Kilt Rock, where waterfalls cascade over the cliffs and down into the sea below.

Day 8 - Depart the Isle of Skye
You have a choice of return options. Leave Skye and travel north up the Great Glen to Inverness. Or travel south through spectacular Glencoe where you may wish to extend your holiday in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
