A stop at Crail for coffee then a short run round the coast to the delightful University town and birthplace of golf - St Andrews.

Your 5* Luxury Resort Hotel overlooks the Old Course, the most famous golf course in the world, and has spectacular views out to the west beach and sea beyond.

This evening you will dine at The Road Hole Grill, St Andrew’s most memorable dining experience. Located on the top floor of your Hotel and overlooking the most famous hole in golf, the elegant grill room offers panoramic views over the St Andrews links.

Day 2 - Golf at St Andrews or a visit to Scone Palace and tour of St Andrews

This morning we will arrange for you to play a round of golf at the game's spiritual home. With a spectacular setting above St Andrews, the championship Duke's Course provides magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the sea.

The Duke's is highly regarded as one of the finest heathland championship courses in the British Isles and a 'must play' course for any golfer. With five separate tee positions at every hole, The Duke's has the flexibility and challenge to appeal to golfers at every level.

For the non-golfers we will arrange a tour to Scone Palace, the home of the Earls of Mansfield, and a place that breathes history like nowhere else in Scotland. Scone Palace has been the seat of numerous parliaments and the crowning place of Kings. It has housed the Stone of Destiny and been immortalised in Shakespeare's Macbeth.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant in St Andrews before spending the afternoon exploring the town's historic sights.

This evening you will dine at an award winning Seafood Restaurant which offers modern, contemporary dining in an outstanding location. The open theatre kitchen and magnificent views over the West Sands and North Sea will ensure a spectacular and memorable evening.

Day 3 - Golf at Carnoustie or a visit to Blair Castle and the House of Bruar

This morning the golfers will make the short journey to Carnoustie to play the famous Championship Course, host of the memorable 1999 and 2007 British Opens. The Championship course is a long and intimidating sight and when the wind blows across the Tay Estuary it becomes even tougher, including three of the world's most challenging holes to finish.

For the non-golfers we will arrange a tour of Highland Perthshire where you will visit the historic cathedral town of Dunkeld and the picture perfect Queen's View. Following a pub lunch in Blair Atholl visit magnificent Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. With its roots in the 13th Century, Blair Castle’s history extends over some 740 years, during which time it has welcomed countless generations of visitors.

The tour then continues to The House of Bruar, Scotland's most prestigious country store, with a carefully selected range of elegant and refined country clothing, along with a magnificent food hall.

In the evening you will dress in all your finery for the finale to your visit to Scotland - a magnificent Gala Dinner at fairytale Glamis Castle. The castle has been a royal residence since 1372 and was the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and legendary setting for Shakespeare's famous play 'Macbeth'.

After driving down the majestic avenue, you will receive a traditional Scottish welcome from the castle piper. Pre-dinner drinks will be taken in the warmth and elegance of the 17th Century Drawing Room, just as the Strathmore family have done for generations.

You will be enchanted by the magic of Glamis as you set off on a private tour of the State Rooms and Royal Apartments. Basking in the rich glow of a roaring log fire, enjoy the finest local produce and Scottish cuisine in the panelled splendour of the Victorian Dining Room.

As a spectacular finale to your evening we will arrange a Pipe Band to perform the Beat the Retreat ceremony in front of the floodlit Castle - a memorable end to your visit to Scotland.
