Arriving into England

By Air: 
Nearest major International Airports: London Heathrow and London Gatwick

London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports are the closest major international airports to Padstow. There are direct trains from London Paddington Station to Bodmin Parkway - the nearest train station to Padstow, and the journey takes just under 4 hours. From Bodmin Parkway you can connect with a Plymouth Citybus to Padstow. 

From within the UK the nearest airport is Newquay which is only 12 miles from Padstow, and which has daily flights arriving from London Stansted, London Gatwick and London Luton, and less frequent flights from other UK airports. You could also fly into Exeter Airport - 85 miles from Padstow, which is served by Flybe and Easyjet.


Getting to Padstow

By Rail: 
Nearest Railway Station: Bodmin Parkway

From Bodmin Parkway there are regular buses to Padstow which are designed to operate around the main train arrivals. You can find more information on trains into Bodmin Parkway on the National Rail Enquiries website.

By Road:
If you plan to travel by car it may be possible to leave it at the guest house or hotel at the start or end of your walk, for the duration of your holiday. We can check this for you when your booking is confirmed.


Returning from Penzance

By Rail:
Nearest Railway Station: Penzance

Penzance is well served by direct rail routes from many parts of the UK. It is the terminus of the InterCity line from London and the North and is approximately five hours travel time to London Paddington. There are direct train services to the Midlands, the North West and North East of England, as well as to Scotland.

. Although tickets can only be mailed to a UK address, overseas customers can still order tickets in advance and collect them from a Fast Ticket machine in the UK. Fast Ticket machines are located in most mainline railway stations.
