The Tour of the Lake District is a beautiful circular tour which passes through the stunning Lake District. The landscape of which is world-renowned for its beauty, and it has received National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site status in order to ensure its protection.
The trail allows you to experience a pleasant mixture of bustling towns such as Ambleside, Windermere and Keswick and more quaint secluded areas found in the Western Fells. This combination gives you a great understanding of the Lake District’s dynamic culture and landscape.

We have graded the Tour of the Lake District as being of easy to moderate difficulty.
The route follows public footpaths with occasionally steep terrain when climbing parts of the High Fells and the Helvellyn range.
